En juin et juillet 2023, j’ai travaillé pour le programme EU4OceanObs de la Commission européenne hébergé par Mercator Ocean International pour suivre une équipe de scientifiques dans l’océan Arctique à bord du brise-glace Ponant Le Commandant Charcot (un partenaire du Consortium de recherche sur les brise-glaces arctiques de l’UE). L’équipe a mené des recherches sur l’oxygène, les écosystèmes de l’océan Arctique et les plastiques marins afin de soutenir la Décennie des Nations unies pour les sciences de la mer au service du développement durable, le programme de la Décennie mondiale de l’oxygène de l’océan et le système intégré d’observation des débris marins.

In June 2023, I worked for the European Commission’s EU4OceanObs programme hosted by Mercator Ocean International to follow a team of scientists into the Arctic Ocean on board the Ponant icebreaker Le Commandant Charcot (a partner of the EU Arctic Icebreaker Research Consortium). The team carried out research on oxygen, Artic Ocean ecosystems, and marine plastics to support the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, the Global Ocean Oxygen Decade programme, and the Integrated Marine Debris Observing System.
